Sewage and refuse disposal up NOK 0,5 billion

The turnover in the sewage and refuse disposal industry totalled NOK 2.6 billion in the first six months of 2000. The total turnover in the same period in 1998 and 1999 were respectively NOK 1.7 and NOK 2.1 billion.

The turnover is exc. VAT.

An important reason for the increased turnover is that several enterprises previously not included in the statistics have changed type of ownership and are now included in the statistics.
