Sewage and refuse disposal, sanitation and similar activities, 1st period 2004

Within collection and treatment of sewage the businesses had a turnover of NOK 103 million in the 1st period of 2004, an increase in the turnover by 16 per cent compared with the same period in 2003. The businesses dealing with sanitation, remediation and similar activities had a turnover of NOK 42 million in the 1st period of 2004. This subclass had no changes in the turnover since the same period the previous year.

The businesses dealing with collection and treatment of other waste represented 89 per cent of the total turnover within sewage and refuse disposal in the 1st period of 2004. This subclass had a turnover of NOK 1 171 million in the 1st period of 2004. This represents an increase of 7 per cent compared with the same period in 2003.
