Sewage and refuse disposal, sanitation and similar activities, 5th period 2004

Businesses dealing with collection and treatment of sewage had a turnover of NOK 124 million in the fifth period of 2004. This is a 17 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2003. The businesses dealing with sanitation, remediation and similar activities had a turnover of NOK 32 million in the fifth period of 2004. This is unchanged from the same period the previous year.

In the fifth period of 2004 the turnover in the businesses dealing with collection and treatment of other waste represented over 9/10 of the total turnover within sewage and refuse disposal. This subclass had a turnover of NOK 1 619 million in the fifth period of 2004, an increase of 5 per cent compared with the same period in 2003.
