Sewage and refuse disposal, sanitation and similar activities, 5th period 2005

In September and October of 2005 the turnover in the businesses dealing with collection and treatment of other waste represented over 9/10 of the total turnover within sewage and refuse disposal. This industry class had a turnover of almost NOK 1.9 billion in the fifth period of 2005 - an increase of 11 per cent compared with the same period in 2004.

Businesses dealing with collection and treatment of sewage had an increase in the turnover in September and October of 2005 of 10 per cent compared with the same period in 2004. The turnover was NOK 182 million.

In the fifth period of 2005 the businesses dealing with sanitation, remediation and similar activities had a turnover of NOK 47 million. The turnover increased by 24 per cent compared with the same period in 2004.
