Turnover rise in sewage and sanitation
Turnover in the sewage and sanitation industry was 15 percent higher in January and February this year than in the same period of 2007. The businesses collecting and treating other waste have also increased their turnover.
Businesses dealing with the collection and treatment of sewage had a turnover of NOK 177 million in January and February. This is an increase of 15 per cent compared with the corresponding period in 2007.
The businesses dealing with collection and treatment of sewage had a turnover of NOK 1.9 million. This is a 14 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2007.
The businesses dealing with sanitation, remediation and similar activities had a turnover of NOK 58 million in the first two months of 2008. This is 4 per cent higher than in January and February 2007.
