Increase for National Insurance Scheme Fund

The National Insurance Scheme Fund's total capital amounted to NOK 167.4 billion at the end of the first half 2004 This is an increase of NOK 9 billion compared to the Fund's value at the end of the second half 2003.

Figures from The National Insurance Scheme Fund show a NOK 5 billion increase in loans during the first half 2004. The figures also show a growth in other financial assets corresponding to NOK 2.1 billion in first half 2003. Only moderate changes are recorded in the funds stock of commercial papers and bonds .
