Decreased surplus

General government revenue and expenditure has been revised with updated data for 2013 and 2014. Both tax revenue and surplus have been adjusted down compared to the previous release.

Tax revenues in 2013 and 2014 are revised down by NOK 6 billion and NOK 15 billion respectively. As a result, government surplus now amounts to NOK 283 billion in 2014 – almost NOK 50 billion less than in 2013.
