Tax accounts, March 2005

Total tax paid to central government amounted to NOK 35.7 billion, an increase of 4.9 per cent. Total tax paid to local government came to NOK 30.3 billion. This is an increase of 4.0 per cent compared with the same period last year. Contributions to the National Insurance Scheme totalled NOK 48.9 billion, an increase of 5.1 per cent.
