Tax accounts, September 2005

Contributions to the National Insurance Scheme rose by 5.6 per cent from the corresponding period in 2004 and totalled NOK 125 billion. Total tax paid to central and local government amounted to NOK 91 billion and NOK 81.4 billion respectively. Total tax paid to central government increased by 4.1 per cent, while total tax paid to local government increased by 4.8 per cent.
