Tax accounts, January 2006

Contributions to the National Insurance Scheme totalled NOK 26.1 billion, an increase of 7.3 per cent. Total tax paid to the central government amounted to NOK 12.1 billion, an increase of 2.8 per cent. Total tax paid to local government came to NOK 13.4 billion. This is an increase of 6.0 per cent compared with January 2005.
