Paid and distributed taxes by county. Change in per cent, January-November, 2004-2005 and 2005-2006

The large increase in distributed taxes is mainly due to high tax income from extraction of petroleum, paid in April and October.

Contributions to the national insurance scheme totalled NOK 162.8 billion. This is 7.1 per cent higher than the corresponding period in 2005. Tax paid to local government amounted to NOK 112.9 billion. Compared with the same period last year, this is an increase of NOK 12.1 billion, or 12.0 per cent.
