Tax accounts, February 2007

Total tax paid to local government came to NOK 16.3 billion. This is an increase of NOK 2.2 billion, or 16.0 per cent compared with the same period in 2006.

Contributions to the National Insurance Scheme totalled NOK 28.5 billion, an increase of NOK 2 billion or 7.4 per cent compared with the same period in 2006. Of this Employers contribution amounted to NOK 18.9 billion, while Members contribution amounted to NOK 9.6 billion, an increase of respectively 5.9 per cent and 10.5 per cent.
