Total tax payments from January to May this year were also higher than in the corresponding period last year. NOK 434.1 billion was paid in the first five months of this year and this is NOK 26.2 billion more than in the same period of 2012. NOK 286.8 billion of the total sum was paid through the advance tax arrangement and this is an increase of 7 per cent from last year. Payments through the non-personal taxpaying arrangement have also increased due to higher tax payments on petroleum extraction. Excluding oil taxes, payments from non-personal taxpayers decreased by 4.9 per cent.
