Moderate increase in total tax payments

By the end of September this year, Norway had received NOK 687 billion in taxes. This is an increase of NOK 27.2 billion or 4.1 per cent compared to the same period last year.

NOK 471.6 billion was paid through the advance tax arrangement and NOK 150.2 billion was from taxes on petroleum extraction.

The main source of tax payments in September came through the advance tax arrangement, with NOK 97.2 billion. Of this, the National Insurance Scheme received NOK 41.8 billion.

From January to September this year, the National Insurance Scheme received about NOK 213 billion in tax payments, which is 6.5 per cent more than the same period last year. Of this, the employer contributions and the member contributions received NOK 124.2 billion and NOK 88.9 billion respectively.
