Stable increase in commercial property rents

Commercial property rents increased by 2.5 per cent from 2014 to 2015. In the period from 2010-2015, rents increased by almost 15 per cent.

Statistics Norway's new Rental price index for commercial properties reveals that between 2014 and 2015, hotel properties faced the highest price increase, with 4.1 per cent. In the period from 2010 to 2015, rents on workshops saw the strongest increase, with close to 25 per cent, while shops had the weakest increase with 9.9 per cent. The sub-index of offices is near the average for the whole period since it is the dominating property type measured in total value.
In the period from 2010 to 2015, the CPI increased by 8.6 per cent.
