Small changes in the construction costs

The index of residential buildings registered no change in May compared with April this year, while material costs rose by 0.1 per cent in the same period.

The cost of materials for electrical work increased by 0.5 per cent in May compared with April this year.

The construction costs of residential buildings rose by 5.1 per cent in May 2001 compared with May 2000. Material cost increased by 4.8 per cent in the same period.
