Increased costs for electrical installations

The cost of electrical equipment increased by 3.3 per cent for detached houses and 3.4 per cent for multi-dwelling houses in July compared with June this year. The index for electrical installations for detached houses and multi-dwelling houses rose by 1.7 and 1.6 per cent respectively.

The index of residential buildings increased by 0.3 per cent in July compared with June this year, while material costs rose by 0.4 per cent in the same period. The construction costs of residential buildings rose by 4.9 per cent in July 2001 compared with July 2000. Material cost increased by 4.2 per cent in the same period.
