Construction costs unchanged

The construction cost index of residential buildings remained unchanged from May to June this year. Material costs increased by 0.1 per cent in the same period.

The construction costs of residential buildings rose by 3.3 per cent in June 2002 compared with June 2001. Labour costs and material costs increased by 4.6 and 2.5 per cent respectively in the same period.
