Electrical and plumbing costs increased the most

The costs of plumbing and electrical installations increased by 4.6 to 4.9 per cent for detached houses and multi-dwelling houses in October this year compared with October 2002. The costs of residential buildings rose by 2.6 per cent in the same period.

On an annual basis, the construction costs for multi-dwelling houses rose by 2.9 per cent, and for detached houses 2.5 per cent.. The material costs for multi-dwelling houses and detached houses rose by 1.9 and 2.1 per cent respectively.

From September to October this year the construction costs for both detached houses and multi-dwelling increased by 0.2 per cent. The material costs for detached houses and multi-dwelling rose by 0.2 and 0.3 per cent respectively.
