Increased costs for plumbing installations

The cost of plumbing equipment increased by 3.9 per cent for detached houses and 4.8 per cent for multi-dwelling houses in March compared with February this year. The index for plumbing installations for detached houses and multi-dwelling houses rose by 2.3 and 2.8 per cent respectively.

The index of residential buildings increased by 0.4 per cent in March compared with February this year. Material cost increased by 0.7 per cent in the same period.

On an annual basis, the construction costs of residential buildings rose by 2.0 per cent and material costs rose by 2.5 per cent.
