Construction costs up 3 per cent

The construction cost for residential buildings increased by 3.0 per cent from January 2005 to January 2006. The material costs rose by 2.5 per cent in the same period.

The construction cost for residential buildings rose by 0.2 per cent from December 2005 to January 2006, while the material costs increased by 0.4 per cent in the same period.
