Slight changes in construction costs

The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 0.1 per cent from August to September this year. The material costs rose by 0.2 per cent in the same period.

The construction costs of multi-dwelling houses increased by 0.2 per cent, while detached houses of wood rose by 0.1 per cent from August to September this year. For both building types, the material costs rose by 0.2 per cent.

From September last year to September this year, the construction costs of residential buildings increased by 3.7 per cent, while the material costs rose by 3.5 per cent in the same period. The construction costs of multi-dwelling houses increased by 4.3 per cent, while detached houses of wood rose by 3.5 per cent. The material costs increased by 4.3 and 3.1 per cent the last year.
