Construction costs up 3.4 per cent

The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 3.4 per cent from September last year to September 2004. The construction costs of multi-dwelling houses and detached houses increased by 4.2 and 3.2 per cent respectively in the same period. The increase was 0.3 per cent and 0.2 per cent in September this year.
