Increase in construction costs
The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 0.3 per cent from April to May this year. Labour costs rose by 0.6 per cent in the same period.

Wage statistics for the first quarter of 2015 are included in the construction costs of May 2015, and are the main reason for the cost increase from April.
From May 2014 to May 2015, the construction costs of detached houses of wood and multi-dwelling houses increased by 2.6 and 2.2 per cent respectively.
