Minor changes in construction costs
The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 0.2 per cent from July to August this year. The material costs rose by 0.1 per cent in the same period, while labour costs rose by 0.4 per cent.

Wage statistics for the second quarter of 2016 are included in the construction costs of August 2016.
From August 2015 to August 2016, the construction costs of detached houses of wood and multi-dwelling houses increased by 2.5 and 2.6 per cent respectively.
