Plumbing costs up 1.1 per cent

The index of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings increased by 1.1 per cent in September 2001 compared with a month before.

Wage statistics for second quarter 2001 are included in plumbing work in office and commercial buildings for September and contribute to a cost increase of 1.1 per cent in September compared with August this year.

The construction costs of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings rose by 6.0 per cent in September 2001 compared with September 2000. The cost of sanitary installations and heating installations increased in the same period by 7.0 and 4.8 per cent respectively.
