Plumbing costs up 4.6 per cent

The index of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings increased by 4.6 per cent in September 2003 compared with September 2002. Material costs rose by 4.2 per cent in the same period.

The cost of sanitary installations and heating installations increased the last year by 4.4 and 4.8 per cent respectively.

From August to September 2003 the construction costs of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings rose by 0.8 per cent.
