Plumbing costs up 4.9 per cent

The index of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings increased by 4.9 per cent in December 2003 compared with December 2002.

In the same period the cost of sanitary installations and heating installations rose by 4.6 and 5.3 per cent respectively.

Wage statistics for the third quarter of 2003 are included in plumbing work in office and commercial buildings for December and contribute to a cost increase of 0.8 per cent in December compared with November last year.
