Small changes in plumbing cost

The construction costs of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings rose by 0.2 per cent from July to August this year. Increase in administrative expenses contributed the most. The material costs remained unchanged in the same period.

Wage statistics for the second quarter of 2008 are included in the index for August.

From August last year to August this year the costs of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings increased by 7.3 per cent. The costs of sanitary installations and heating installations rose by 5.7 and 9.2 per cent respectively in the same period.
