Small changes in plumbing costs

The construction costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings rose by 0.2 per cent from January to February this year. The labour costs increased by 0.8 per cent, and the material costs remained unchanged in the same period.

Wage statistics for the fourth quarter of 2008 are included in the index of February, and this is the main reason for the cost increase.

From February 2008 to February 2009, the costs of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings rose by 8.9 per cent. The costs of sanitary installations and heating installations increased by respectively 9.1 and 8.7 per cent in the same period.
