Plumbing costs up 0.3 per cent

The construction costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings increased by 0.3 per cent from July to August this year. The labour costs rose by 1.4 per cent, while the material costs remained unchanged in the same period.

Wage statistics for the second quarter of 2010 are included in the index for August, and this is the main reason for the cost increase.

From August 2009 to August 2010 the costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings increased by 2.4 per cent. The costs of sanitary installations rose by 4.2 per cent, while the costs of heating installations increased by 0.2 per cent in the same period.
