Plumbing costs up 3.4 per cent

The construction costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings increased by 3.4 per cent from December 2009 to December 2010. The material cost rose by 2.9 per cent in the same period.

The costs of sanitary installations and heating installations increased by 2.7 and 4.2 per cent respectively, while the material costs rose by 2.0 and 4.1 per cent in the same period.

From November to December 2010, the construction costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings increased by 0.1 per cent.
