Wholesale prices up 0.4 per cent

Wholesale prices increased by 0.4 per cent from the 1st quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2012, and are 0.8 per cent higher than the same quarter last year.

Wholesale prices of food, beverages and tobacco increased by 1.4 per cent from the 1st quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2012. Prices of furniture and construction materials also increased in this period, while prices of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products decreased by 1.0 per cent.
