Wholesale prices increased by 1.0 per cent from the 1st quarter of 2013 and also compared to the 1st and 4th quarters last year.

Prices of food, beverages and tobacco increased by 2.6 per cent, and this one of the sectors that contributed to the overall price increase last quarter. Food, beverages and tobacco sales make up 30 per cent of turnover within the wholesale trade. Prices of electrical household appliances had the largest decrease, by 2.6 per cent in the last quarter.
