Wholesale prices decreased 0.2 per cent

Wholesale prices decreased by 0.2 per cent in the 2nd quarter of 2013 but are still 0.4 per cent higher than the same quarter last year.

Solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products had the largest decrease, with 6.2 per cent in the last quarter, and account for 16 per cent of turnover within the wholesale trade.

Food, beverages and tobacco decreased by 3.2 per cent and account for 30 per cent of turnover within the wholesale trade.
