EEA consumer prices up 2.1 per cent

The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) for the EEA was 111.8 in November (1996=100), unchanged from October. The year-to-year growth was 2.1 per cent in November, the same as in October. This is 0.3 percentage points higher than the year-to-year growth in Norway.

The HICP in the Euro-zone was 111.9 in November, down 0.1 per cent from October. The year-to-year growth in November was 2.2 per cent, down from 2.3 per cent in October.

For Norway the HICP was 114.7, up 0.3 per cent from October. The year-to-year change in the consumer prices was 1.8 per cent.
