The prices of services connected to recreation and culture and transport contributed to the year-to-year growth in the CPI. Also tobacco and materials for maintenance and repair of dwelling experienced price growth from November last year with increases of 19.2 and 4.3 respectively. Audiovisual equipment and clothing and footwear contributed to moderate the growth with price decreases of 5.8 and 2.7 respectively.

No change in the consumer prices from October to November

The CPI showed no change from October to November. The largest contributions with an upward effect on the CPI were the prices of food and clothing and footwear. Petrol prices had the largest downward effect on the consumer prices with a decrease of 3.1 per cent from October to November. With a decline of 0.6 per cent, the tariffs on electricity contributed in the same direction. As a result the CPI excluding energy products (CPI-AE) went up 0.1 per cent.
