Price increase for new detached houses
Prices of new detached houses increased by 5.1 per cent from the fourth quarter of 2014 to the same quarter of 2015.

Compared with the third quarter of 2015 the prices of new detached houses, measured at the completion date, increased by 1.4 per cent.
New multi-dwellings, measured at the point of sale, increased by 6 per cent compared to the same quarter of 2014. Prices of new flats in blocks and small houses had a small increase by 0.3 per cent in the past quarter.
Statistics Norway’s house price index for existing dwellings shows an increase by 3.2 per cent for detached houses, 5.4 per cent for small houses and 7.2 per cent for flats in blocks in the last year.

Prices of new detached houses and new multi-dwellings are collected at different stages in the building process. New detached houses are measured at the completion date registered in the Cadastre, while new multi-dwellings are measured at the point of sale.
