Reduced increase in electricity prices

Overall prices increased by 2.1 per cent from December to January. The main reason for the increase was higher prices of mineral oil, lubricants and electricity. After a 50 per cent increase from November to December, prices of electricity went up by 19.5 per cent from December to January.

Prices of mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials increased by 9 per cent from December to January. Prices of electricity went up 19.5 per cent, and petroleum and petroleum products went up 6.3 per cent. Chemicals and related products showed an increase of 1.3 per cent.
