Total index continues to decline

The total price index of first hand domestic sales went down by 0.2 per cent from May to June. The main reason for the decrease was lower prices of electricity, chemicals and crude materials.

Prices of mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials showed nearly no changes from May to June.

Among these products petroleum and petroleum products went up 2.4 per cent, while electricity prices declined by 7.8 per cent. Chemicals and related products and crude materials declined by 0.8 and 2.4 per cent respectively. Prices of food went up 0.3 per cent. This increase was caused by lower prices of meat, cereals and vegetables.

On the domestic market overall prices went up 0.1 per cent. The main reason for the rise in the domestic market was the increase of the price of crude materials, while the price of these materials declined in the domestic and the import market.
