Higher prices on mineral fuels

The Price Index of First-hand Domestic Transactions increased by 0.6 per cent from June to July. Higher prices on mineral fuels pushed the index up. From July 1998 to July 1999 the prices increased by 1.7 percent after a 1.3 per cent increase in June.

As an average the July-price for Brent Blend ended up above 20 dollar per barrel - more than 20 per cent up from last month.
