Lower electricity prices
After a sharp price jump of electricity in January, prices fell by nearly 22 per cent in February. This contributed strongly to the 1 per cent drop in the total PIF from last month. Price decreases on food, crude materials and chemicals also contributed to the total decline. The price of petroleum and petroleum products rose due to the higher oil price.
