Price increase on food and energy products
Price index of first-hand domestic sales (PIF) rose by 2.1 per cent from May to June. A price increase on oil and oil products as well as gas and electricity were the main contributors to the increase in the total index. Higher prices on food products, such as cod, salmon and new potatoes also contributed to the overall price rise from May to June.
