Large price increases on oil and petroleum products
Price index of first-hand domestic sales (PIF) increased by 1.2 per cent from November to December. The price rise was mainly caused by crude oil, which rose by around 18 per cent. This also affected the price on other oil products. Lower price on electricity contributed to dampen the growth in PIF from the last month.
