High building prices in Norway
The European survey on comparative price levels for construction in 2007 shows that Norway is one of the most expensive countries.
The price levels are spread over five country groups, of which Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and United Kingdom are in the most expensive group. The construction price levels in these countries are at least 40 per cent higher than the EU27 average. The survey covers 37 European countries and is part of the European OECD Purchasing Power Parities (PPP) programme.
