Growth in computer consultancy prices
Since the third quarter of 2011, prices for computer consultancy services have risen 3.4 per cent. In the same period, prices for telecommunication services decreased by 3.8 per cent.
From the third quarter of 2011 to the third quarter of 2012, price indices for all the categories of computer consultants went up. The growth was highest in indices for IT architects and advisers: 6.5 and 4.7 per cent respectively. In the same period, prices for telecommunication services declined as a result of a 7.4 per cent fall in prices in the consumer market.
Since the second quarter of 2012, prices for telecommunication and computer consultancy services have remained virtually unchanged: up 0.2 and 0.6 per cent respectively. Individual customers experienced a 1 per cent decline in telecommunication prices from the second to the third quarter of 2012, while prices for business customers rose 2.3 per cent.
