Increasing prices in employment activities

From the 4th quarter of 2010 to the 4th quarter of 2011 the prices for employment activities experienced an increase of 4.4 per cent. In comparison, the increase from the 3rd quarter of 2011 was only 0.9 per cent.

Within administrative and support service activities, cleaning activities have also experienced an increase in price. They haves risen by 2.7 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2010, though the increase from the 3rd quarter of 2011 to the 4th quarter of 2011 has been marginal.

Whereas prices in general tend to increase, car rental prices have decreased resulting in a price reduction of 4.7 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2010 to the 4th quarter of 2011.

All activities concerning legal, accounting and business consultancy have had a price increase of about 3 percent. Accounting, bookkeeping and auditing activities have experienced the highest increase, a rise of 3.4 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2010 to the 4th quarter of 2011.Throughout the same period, the price increase of legal activities was 3.3 per cent and the price increase of management consultancy activities was that of 2.9 per cent.

Increase in prices of advertising

Prices of advertising are increasing, and rose by 0.5 per cent from the 3rd to the 4th quarter of 2011. In comparison, the prices were 2.8 per cent higher in the 4th quarter of 2011 than in the 4th quarter of 2010.

Civil engineering and architectural activities

Civil engineering and architectural activities have also experienced a price increase from the 4th quarter of 2010 to the 4th quarter of 2011. The increase of prices regarding civil engineering and that of architectural activities were 2.7 percent and 4.3 per cent respectively.
