The car rental business has also experienced no significant price changes. Clients in the 3rd quarter of 2012 had to pay 0.1 per cent less for their rental cars than in the same quarter of 2011. The impact of the decreasing prices mainly derived from the price decrease for private customers.

3 per cent price increase for legal, accounting and auditing activities

Legal, accounting and auditing activities experienced a price increase by just more than 3 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2011 to the 3rd quarter of 2012. Legal activities had an increase of 3.3 per cent, whereas accounting and auditing activities experienced a marginally lower increase of 3.2 per cent. In comparison, prices were 0.5 and 0.3 per cent higher respectively in the 3rd quarter of 2012 than in the 2nd quarter of 2012.

Lower growth than usual for architectural services

The prices for architectural services rose by 2.2 per cent from the 3 rd quarter of 2011 to the 3rd quarter of 2012. This is the lowest annual growth registered since the data collections started on this industry in 1998.

Advertising services also experienced little growth in prices; 0.7 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2011 to the 3rd quarter of 2012. The prices have decreased by 0.1 per cent since the 2nd quarter of 2012.

Stable price increase for cleaning activities and technical testing and analysis

In the 3rd quarter of 2012 the prices of cleaning activities were 3 per cent higher than in the same quarter of 2011. Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2012, there was a price increase of 0.4 per cent. Technical testing and analysis experienced prices that were 3.3 per cent higher in the 3rd quarter of 2012 than in the 3rd quarter of 2011, and 1.1 per cent higher than in the 2nd quarter of 2012. Employment activities have also had a similar price increase, with a 2.9 per cent increase from the 3rd quarter of 2011 to the 3rd quarter of 2012.

Increased growth in civil engineering

Prices of civil engineering services have experienced a strong increase from the 3rd quarter of 2011 to the 3rd quarter of 2012; an increase of 5.7 per cent. The increase derives from an increase of 4.2 per cent from the 2nd to the 3rd quarter this year.
