Decrease in February
Norwegian camping sites had 129 000 overnight stays in February 2001, 9 000 or 6.5 per cent less than in February 2000. Both business from abroad and the domestic traffic decreased.
Compared with February 2000, Denmark increased, while Sweden and Germany decreased.
So far in 2001 business from abroad and the domestic marked decreased.
Increased capacity
In February 2001, 243 camping sites were open with 4 095 cabins/room. The corresponding figures for February last year were 242 camping sites and 4 009 cabins/rooms.
