154 000 overnight stays in February
Norwegian camping sites had 154 000 overnight stays in February 2002, 25 000 or 19 per cent more than in February 2001. Domestic traffic increased 26 per cent while the total business from abroad decreased 20 per cent.
Compared with February 2001, Sweden increased, while Denmark and Germany decreased.

So far in 2002 business from abroad decreased while the domestic market increased.
Less camping sites
In February 2002, 237 camping sites were open with 4 098 cabins/room. The corresponding figures for February last year were 243 camping sites and 4 095 cabins/rooms.
